I’ve used plenty of things to clean my makeup brushes through the years and I wouldn’t recommend most of them- antibacterial hand soap, baby shampoo, white vinegar, olive oil mixed with Dawn. You name a cheap, at-home or DIY solution and I’ve probably tried it. I just can’t talk myself into paying anything over five dollars for something that’s going to clean my brushes when I have plenty of useful things to try at home.
Of all my experiments, baby shampoo has probably been my favorite. It removes makeup without drying out the brushes or giving off a horribly potent smell. It’s gentle enough to keep the bristles soft and cleans without stripping; it’s cheap, easy and effective.

Kiehl’s is one of my favorite companies. They use natural ingredients to deliver on exceptional products. While they can be pricy at times, at least you know you’re paying for quality.
I was so excited to finally treat myself to Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado ($47). I’ve been lusting over this product for months, dreaming of the day when the skin around my eyes is as soft and hydrated as the rest of my face.
Well, that day is finally here. Insert the praising hands emoji with a few hearts-for-eyes.

After my glowing review of Glossier’s Perfecting Skin Tint and Boy Brow and subsequent induction of the products into my holy grail stash, I was eager to try out even more of Glossier.
