I have a complicated relationship with toner. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it. Sometimes it seems necessary, sometimes it seems like a watery waste of money. I’m wishy-washy on this one and still can’t make a decision, using toners on and off whenever they fall into my possession.
If you live by the book on your beauty routine, toners are supposed to be the last step in the cleansing process. They exist to clean any impurities on your skin that weren’t reached by your cleanser, like dust, residue or pollution. A good toner is alcohol-free (duh) and also pH balanced, serving to chill out your skin after a rough cleansing.

I’m all about getting great quality products for next to nothing- from mascara to lipsticks to bronzer, Wet n Wild rarely lets me down. I even have a Wet n Wild brand makeup brush or two, cruelty-free and under five bucks each. They might shed a bit, but you can’t beat the price and they get the job done without emptying your wallet.
A few weeks ago, I was browsing the makeup section at Target when this particular product caught my eye. I had read about the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Eyeshadow Primer ($4.99) before and had heard only good things, so I was eager to try it out for myself.

Lip balm has been a necessity in my life since before I can remember. One of my nervous habits is to absently pick at my lips, so the only thing that saves me from horrendously chapped lips is my obsession with lip balms. I apply lip balm every night before I go to sleep, every morning when I finish brushing my teeth and then during the day as needed, depending on if I’m wearing a lipstick or lip gloss- even if I am, I usually apply lip balm beneath it to keep my lips moisturized and soft.
