Get More For Less: Wet n Wild Photo Focus Eyeshadow Primer Review

I’m all about getting great quality products for next to nothing- from mascara to lipsticks to bronzer, Wet n Wild rarely lets me down. I even have a Wet n Wild brand makeup brush or two, cruelty-free and under five bucks each. They might shed a bit, but you can’t beat the price and they get the job done without emptying your wallet.

A few weeks ago, I was browsing the makeup section at Target when this particular product caught my eye. I had read about the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Eyeshadow Primer ($4.99) before and had heard only good things, so I was eager to try it out for myself.

As someone with oily eyelids, primer is a must. If I don’t wear it, my eyeshadow will smear off my face halfway through the day or completely disappear after an hour or two (where does it go?!). Additionally, eyeshadow doesn’t apply well to my lids unless I’m wearing primer. Instead of a smooth coating, I get blotchy patches that not even the most intense blending session can fix.

This primer gives me the same quality I get with my true love, the UD Primer Potion, only for half the price. With just a squirt of this smooth formula, my eyeshadow applies like an effortless dream and stays put until I take it off myself. What else is there to want in a primer?

Hands down, this product is a steal for its effectiveness. Now, the only problem is finding it in stock! It seems like this little secret isn’t much of a secret in the beauty world considering how often it’s sold out in stores. If you can get your hands on this primer, don’t hesitate to buy it for yourself.
