SUNDAY RILEY C.E.O. C + E antiOXIDANT Protect + Repair Moisturizer Review

Sunday Riley is an incredible skincare brand. If I had unlimited funds for my beauty routine, I would own every one of their products and circle through them like the most nourishing and luxurious merry-go-round of all time. Since that’s not the case, I have only one well-loved product in my anti-aging arsenal.

So, let’s talk about the product I do own: Sunday Riley C.E.O. C+ E antiOXIDANT Protect + Repair Moisturizer.

Try saying that five times fast.

The gold star ingredient in this product is tetrahexydecyl ascorbate (THD ascorbate), which is considered a high quality form of Vitamin C that remains stable against oxygenation and is gentler for those with sensitive skin like mine. Vitamin C in skincare boasts a variety of benefits like evening out complexion, providing hydration and fighting against the visible signs of aging, like wrinkles and sunspots.

I usually wear this product to bed, but I’ve tried it under my foundation before and it works just as well. It gives my skin the faintest tingling sensation during application, like a wink-wink-nudge-nudge that it’s doing its job. When I wake up, my skin feels soft and refreshed. Most notably, it’s been doing wonders with fading my many acne scars.

The lotion itself is a thick consistency that settles into my skin within minutes, leaving my face soft and supple without any oily residue or grease. A little goes a long way– my first exposure to this product was a small sample from Sephora and I got almost a week’s worth of nighttime moisturizing out of it.

Plus, it smells like literal creamsicles from those sticky days of your childhood summers. If that doesn’t convince you, consider the longterm benefits of investing in quality skincare products that protect and repair your skin. Isn’t that reason enough to buy?
