Ipsy is a $10 per month beauty subscription bag and, in my humble opinion, the best one out there. Every month, their glam bag impresses me with unique products and they consistently help me discover brands I might not have otherwise come across. They do their job and they do it well.

I have damaged hair. Aside from my awful habit of bi-weekly blow-dry and flat iron sessions that wreak havoc on my locks, I’m still growing out sections that were disastrously dyed at a salon last September. Leaving with my wallet over a hundred bucks lighter and a halo of orange roots circling my head, I decided I was done dyeing my hair for good- with chemical dyes, at least.
So far, I’ve kept up that promise with the help of messy yet effective hair henna, but nursing my fragile strands back to health wasn’t an easy task.
